| | Description | fem-dophilus contains two Probiotic Formula patented and clinically proven probiotic strains, Lactobacillus GR-1 and Lactobacillus RC-14, discovered and developed by Dr. Gregor Reid and Dr. Andrew Bruce at Urex Biotech. Over 20 years of research supports the oral use of GR-1 and RC-14 to colonize and protect the vaginal tract.
Clinical trials have shown that GR-1 and RC-14:
Help to maintain or restore healthy vaginal flora which is important in maintaining vaginal health
Support the health of the urinary tract.
fem-dophilus is manufactured under pharmaceutical GMP conditions with guaranteed potency and consistency. The probiotic strains in fem-dophilus are in a proprietary polysaccharide matrix, which protects the bacteria from stomach acid and enhances probiotic bacteria survival to the lower intestine.

Wow Mar 07, 2010 I was using this stuff for a few weeks and thought how great it was not to have any odor. Unfortunately, when I drove cross-country, I was unable to keep my cooler cold and they went bad. That was 2 weeks ago and now the odor is back! I went to the nearest store (20 miles out!) just to pick some up because I decided I couldn't wait 2 days for shipping! I never want to be without it; yes it's annoying that it has to be refrigerated, but it's so worth it that you will get used to it!
Worked great for me Mar 04, 2010 I had been suffering from BV/yeast for a few years. Tried all the antibiotics that the ObGyn's prescribe and even tried the Boric acid inserts (worked but the effect did not last, plus too tedious to use). Bought Femdophilus 6 weeks ago at Whole Foods and later ordered more from Amazon (great price). It works like a charm. I am free of the problems for the first time in a long time. Great product. Just ordered more to stock up for the next few months. If you suffer from the feminine issues, do give this product a try.
this product doesn't work Feb 25, 2010 This product does not work for me. I've been using it for two months and every month since July of 2009, I get a yeast infection. Does anything work? I have tried everything. I mean everything.. This is very depressing and I don't know what to do..any ideas ladies? :(
Works but could do better Feb 24, 2010 Got this nasty yeast infection after a round of antibiotics, didnt know I had an internal yeast infection to go with my vaginal yeast infection, took atleast 4 diflucans and used dont know how many monistats and no relief. I have been researching with no help from my gyno, have found many so called cures, but no curing for me. I was very hopeful when I purchased this item but it wasnt strong enough for my issues. I have recently found out that apple cider vinegar tablets and baking soda help to raise the pH in your body which KILLS yeast, internally and vaginally, also higher pH aids in the growth of the "good guys". Hope this helps:)
Not sure it did anything Feb 19, 2010 I'm going to try some other things. This didn't agree with me and I did take it for several weeks. The only thing that has helped my BV so far has been peroxide douches. I think I'm going to try some other products to see if they work, it does make sense that healthy bacteria would help, but this just didn't work on me.
